Benjamin E. Long joined Schlagel Kinzer, LLC as an associate on September 30, 2011. Ben received his B.S. in Biology from Kansas State University and his J.D. from Washburn School of Law. While in law school, Ben was awarded an academic scholarship and served as a research assistant for his first year Property course professor. He was a member of the Washburn Trial Team, and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers—a national oral advocacy honorary.
Ben has focused his legal studies in the areas of litigation strategy and client advocacy. While at Washburn School of Law, he was awarded a Certificate of Advocacy. Ben is a coach for the Kansas State University Mock Trial Team which competes against other universities throughout the country.
Ben brings a unique set of skills to Schlagel Kinzer. His intensive litigation coursework, as well as studies in real estate, property, and environmental law complement the broader practice areas of Schagel Kinzer. Ben is a member of the Johnson County and Kansas Bar Associations.
